Hybrid work opportunity! Use your project management, organizational, communication, and supervisory skills to lead staff members providing education and outreach related to integration of youth Prevention services. This is a full-time position. The successful candidate will work from Chestnut’s Granite City, IL location, as well as in the community and remotely.
Responsibilities:
Oversee implementation of a new Regional Substance Use Prevention Integration Center, including development, implementation, and evaluation of the following: Prevention programs and services; community needs assessments; process and outcome evaluations; trainings; educational materials; media releases; and submission of grant and contract work plans according to project deliverables. Help develop and manage grant budgets. Hire, train and supervise staff and interns. Take a leadership role in local, State, and national advocacy groups and collaborations.

Degree in education, public health, or behavioral health related field (Master’s OR bachelor’s plus at least five years related experience.) Advanced organizational and verbal and written communication skills. Experience coordinating community-based activities. Understanding of and skills related to best practices, curriculum development, and community coalitions. Preferred: One year of supervisory experience; understanding of and skills related to continuum of care, prevention, intervention, treatment, and recovery services.
