Come join our dynamic team at Tel Hai. Assist in creating menus and preparing Restaurant-style meals for the Residents in our community.

• Full-Time full-service restaurants - No Late Nights & every other weekend & holiday OFF!
• 10:30 am-7:00 pm, occasional 11:30 am-8 pm, and 6:30 am-3 pm shifts may also be required.

Specific duties include but are not limited to:

• Prepares daily menu items as needed, following proper food handling techniques using ServSafe standards.
• Maintains cooking equipment and performs daily cleaning duties.
• Offers excellent customer service and phone etiquette.
• Covers, labels, dates, and stores leftover items properly.

Qualifications:

• At least one year of prior cooking experience is required; preferably in a restaurant or country club setting.
• Culinary arts degree and line cooking or ala carte experience preferred.
• Experience with special diets and/or working in a health care setting helpful for Health Care Center position.
• ServSafe Certification and exhibition cooking or catering experience helpful.
