Position Summary: Supports nutritional needs of clients by preparing and serving meals according to established menus approved by Registered Dietician. The schedule is Monday-Friday 10am-6pm + two (2) 12 hour shifts every other weekend.
Educational Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent
Special Skills: Knowledge of basic dietary and nutritional principles; strong people skills to provide excellent internal and external customer service.

Position Duties:
- Prepares approved meals by following established menus using standardized recipes.
- Ensures availability of meals by maintaining proper operation of food preparation equipment.
- Protects clients and co-workers by adhering to approved sanitation and cleaning standards.
- Keeps supervisor informed of all clients' reported concerns or food requests; notifies supervisor immediately of any negative/confrontational/improper client interaction.
- Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential; follows established confidentiality policy and procedures; maintains professional boundaries with clients.
- Maintains inter- and intradepartmental workflow by fostering a spirit of cooperation.
