Controller Job Description:

Masis Professional Group has an immediate need for a Controller for a very well established and growing manufacturing firm in the Jersey Shore, PA area on a full time permanent basis. The Controller will direct and manage financial analysis and decision support, budgeting and spend planning, cash flow and throughput accounting and performance measurements.

Controller Responsibilities:

• Oversees the preparation of business analysis and development of appropriate reports/forecasts to outline the collective division financial position in the areas of income, expenses, cash flow and earnings based on past, present, and future operations
• Provides internal reports to the President/CEO/Owner as needed, and external reports as necessary
• Provides analysis and decision support for company focused mainly on identifying and maximizing throughput opportunities
• Analyze business processes particularly those related to Supply Chain management (Order Entry, Production Planning, Inventory Control, Procurement); proposes and coordinates the implementation of changes to make those processes simpler and more efficient
• Coordinates implementation of performance measurements, analyze and interpret results
• Monitors and reports on business performance on both a cash and P&L basis
• Evaluates progress of strategic programs, key business metrics and operating performance and proposes changes to ensure organization achieves financial targets
• Conducts special studies to assist in product sourcing decisions and plant/product line rationalization
• Analyzes operating performance, coordinates and analyzes monthly / quarterly forecasts; prepare costing estimates, tracking and analyses for both plant and line of business activities
• Assists in the development, coordination, and analysis of business forecasts and strategic plans and business models, as required.

Controller Qualifications:

• Position requires extensive knowledge of key business operations from both a financial operational and managerial perspective
• Strong knowledge of business operating costs and financial best practices modeling as applies to Modern Supply Chain and Technologies Business services
• A thorough understanding of global financial environment for a specific line of business within the division, and related regulatory and governmental compliance requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent and 10-12 years of financial/business experience.
• At least 5 to 7 years business accounting and/or division/business controller experience, including direct oversight of business development activities
• Ability to deliver effective financial modeling results and reports, on time and with proven accuracy in providing estimates, forecasting of business resource needs skills
• Understanding of the manufacturing processes and the modern supply chain accounting processes
• Proficient in MS Office and ERP Systems, AS400 and Mapics

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
