About this Position
This role will be responsible for various accounting processes and financial analyses that leverage both business and market information to provide insight to drive improvement and profitability to the overall company performance. Key activities in this role will include controls effectiveness, accounting process ownership, financial forecasting and modeling, customer profitability analysis, pricing support, and capital investment analysis. The role will also play an important part in developing business reports and partnering with various functions across the business. You will be in contact with all management levels, must be able to communicate effectively to achieve results and influence a broad spectrum of personnel across many disciplines. This role reports directly to the CFO of Ohly Americas.

Role
Key Responsibilities & Tasks

  • Fiduciary responsibility: Champion a governance and controls mindset. Provide expertise on policy compliance, governance, adherence to accounting standards and internal controls. Knowledge of basic accounting principles pertaining to accruals, inventory costs, fixed asset capitalization and other supply chain related technical accounting. Lead the monthly close and forecast processes.
  • Financial Analysis: Ability to create relevant financial analysis and relate results to operational behaviors for the purpose of driving actionable decisions and improvements
  • Strategy development and planning: Provide financial expertise and strategic partnership through modeling and analyses to optimize top and bottom-line performance through margin enhancement and cost reduction
  • Business Partnership: Operate cross-functionally and utilize your influencing skills to develop and implement business strategy. Prepare analysis while partnering to bring forward clear and concise recommendations Develop accurate financial forecasts for business partners

Your Profile
Your Education & Work Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business Administration required
  • CPA preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in finance or accounting
  • Experience from a manufacturing or a consumer-packaged goods (CPG) company preferred.
  • Working knowledge of ERP system, eg Dynamics AX considered a plus
  • Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel
