Job description
Stellbrook Management is seeking a full-time accountant/bookkeeper to manage all financial transactions from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. This position will be responsible for the management and reporting of financial data to include bookkeeping, payroll, and tax return preparation.
Duties and responsibilities may include:
- Reconciling bank statements and bookkeeping ledgers
- Completing analysis of employee expenditures
- Managing income and expenditure accounts
- Processing credit card statements
- Generating financial reports using income and expenditure data
- Filing and remitting taxes and other financial obligations
- Maintaining an organized accounting filing system
Applicants should have a working knowledge of accounting, payroll, tax preparation, computer operation, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other computer software as needed. High attention to detail and accuracy, excellent organizational skills, strong interpersonal communication skills, ability to multitask, adherence to applicable processes and policies and accounting and financial regulations, and critical thinking, analytical, and time management skills a must.
