Summary: This position is responsible for processing New/Used/Product Sales along with accompanying duties generated from said vehicle sales according to company procedures and guidelines in a timely and accurate manner
Essential Job Functions (Duties and Responsibilities): The primary duties consist of, but are not limited to the following.
- Process New/Used Vehicle Sales to accounting.
- Review trade paperwork and process trade pay off checks & EFT’s.
- Maintain office control logs in prescribed process order.
- Book and reconcile Lender funding and vendor payments daily.
- Process Accounts Payables and Receivables generated from vehicle sales.
- Remit product contracts & post invoices to applicable vendors.
- Reconcile Lender Reserve Statements monthly.
- Process product cancellations.
- Reconcile all assigned schedules pertaining to vehicle sales generation.
- Perform general office duties such as typing, operating office machines.
- Must have the ability to report for work on time, follow directions, interact effectively with co-workers, understand and follow rules and procedures and accept constructive criticism.
- Must be able to interact and communicate professionally and effectively through all forms of communication between coworkers and managers to follow up on reconciliations to effectuate resolutions.
- Must maintain a professional etiquette through required forms of communication oral and written.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned by management.
- Education – High school diploma or equivalent plus minimum of 2 years in position or similar positions in a dealer environment; DMV and title processing experience a must.
- Must be able to work extended hours, evenings, holidays and weekends.
- Must demonstrate the ability to read, write and communicate the English language.
- Must be able to work in a sitting position for extended periods of time (at desk, while driving, and/or on travel) in an office/industrial environment
- Manual dexterity to perform data entry functions
- Ability to bend, pull, stoop and reach to perform functions
- Ability to lift 25-30 lbs.
- May be exposed to heat, fumes, noise, and humidity, etc.
- Must have the cognitive and mental capacity to perform essential job functions
- Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing
- Visual acuity to read documents, computer screens, files, etc.
- Ability to hear in person and via phone
