POSITION DETAILS
Position Summary
Position is a support role within Business Development group supporting department personnel and interfacing with production, engineering and shipping departments.
Principal Activities
- Coordinating distributor account information as it pertains to part/service orders, order management, dispute resolution, order status, material availability and data maintenance.
- Process distributor sales orders into operating system.
- Receive and process requests for sales order modifications to delivery date, quantities, shipping/delivery criteria, etc.
- Investigate and provide responses for pricing, order status and material availability.
- Monitor backorder report and coordinate efforts with production planning to expedite deliveries.
- Communicate regularly with distributors to maintain a high satisfaction level.
- Ascertain distributor needs via communication with sales staff and distributor contacts.
- Maintain data on sales activity, backorder service levels, etc.
- Become proficient with EPDM and EC process, JDE (MRP System) and Laserfiche.
- Maintain documentation files.
- Issue documentation within and outside the company.
- Prepares information and data for analysis.
- Provide interface for production and procurement of components.
- Provide interface for obtaining prints, drawings for facility.
- Provide operational metric charts for department as needed.
- Maintain controlled copies of all documents pertinent to an order, e.g. P.O., drawings, revisions, approvals, pricing sheets, quotations, customer correspondence.
- Create and maintain customer manuals as appropriate.
- Develops and maintains necessary logs.
- Follow all Circor company policies and procedures.

Knowledge Skills & Abilities
- Industry knowledge (manufacturing environment)
- Computer Literacy - Proficient in MS Office, knowledge of PowerPoint
- Excellent written, oral communication skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
Education & Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1 - 2 years of college or equivalent years of related clerical / administrative, project administration, document control experience
- Prior customer service, document control, project management support experience
