PAY: $65,000-$85,000 annually

As a Content Technical Writer, you’ll work to:

  • The Content Technical Writer will be responsible for creating and designing technical documents such as manuals, reports, brochures, or articles.
  • Document - Create documentation, guidelines, and instructions for the technical program or software. Understand the audience intended for the material and the requirements of the project.
  • Collaborate and review - Collaborate with team members such as software or hardware engineers to understand any specific process needed. Work with graphic designers to create illustrations, graphs, visual aids or charts to assist the user in understanding the product. Receive feedback on documents and make changes as needed or suggested by other users.
  • Create client-ready template documents to be used for client engagements
  • Quickly absorb business and technical requirements and translate them to well-articulated documentation
  • Lead development of clean client-facing documentation templates
  • Communicate in a thorough but concise manner.
  • Work well in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change and feedback with enthusiasm.

The Ideal education and experience for the Content Technical Writer may include:

  • Superior writing and communication skills with demonstrated knowledge of style guides
  • Flexibility regarding schedule and task switching to meet deadlines and experience handling multiple complex projects simultaneously in various stages of production
  • Ability to translate ambiguous ideas, technical data, and complex information into straightforward, effective, and easily digestible documents or descriptions
  • Capability to balance team and individual responsibilities, exhibiting objectivity and openness to others' views, and giving and welcoming feedback
  • Effective prioritization skills with the ability to plan for additional resources, sets goals and objectives, properly organize tasks, and develop realistic action plans
  • Minimum of 3 years of years minimum of related experience in technical or analytical writing
  • Must be a US Citizen or legal to work in the US without sponsorship
