Residential Construction Assistant Superintendent

Full Time On-Site Position

Glendora/San Dimas

We are hiring for an energetic and dedicated Assistant Superintendent to join our top-notch homebuilding team, with a positive and can-do attitude.

Work description:

· Push schedule with subcontractors for each home under construction, anticipating sequencing, critical path, and timing of each section of work, resolving scheduling and field issues

· Perform quality control on completed projects and create, maintain, and resolve punch lists

· Maintain and be fully aware of project documents plans and specs, and special requirements or conditions of job site

· Advise supervisors of potential problems, work interference, schedule difficulties, and delays

· Monitor job site safety and cleanliness, implementing, enforcing and effectively managing safety policy and procedures; supervise subcontractors of the same; conduct safety meetings

· Track, schedule, and prewalk city, lender, and various agency inspections

· Maintain detailed daily job logs for each house

· Monitor sub trade work to ensure the plans and specs requirements as well as project schedules are met

· Coordinate with various engineers involved in the projects

· Shift Timing: Mon-Fri 7:00AM to 4:00PM

· Location: Glendora/San Dimas

Requirements:

· Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership skills

· 2-5 years minimum experience with construction supervision, preferably in high-end residential

· More in-depth knowledge in at least one trade a definite plus

· Must be very proficient in reading blueprints and specifications

· Must work well under pressure, be self-managed, motivated and able to work independently and with all levels of employees while inspiring respect and credibility

· Must be able to multitask and manage multiple projects/homes under construction concurrently in different stages

Compensation and Benefits:

· $80,000 to 85,000/yr depending on experience

· Additional project bonuses based on performance

· 10 PTO days per year
