Construction Assistant

Responsibilities:
Sitework:

§ Assist the Site Supervisor in constructing new buildings, critical home repair, remodels, or any other construction operations required

§ Display a strong working knowledge of construction techniques

§ Complete assigned tasks efficiently, with a focus on quality and craftsmanship.

§ Take ownership and pride in the work at hand

§ Lead construction volunteers on specific tasks with limited guidance and oversight

§ Represent Habitat for Humanity with professionalism while on the job site

Operations/Administration

§ Remit all receipts to the site supervisor via the approved receptacles in every vehicle or in the office

§ Maintain a clean, safe and efficient job site at the direction of the Site Supervisor

Requirements

§ Prefer 2 years of experience in residential construction or equivalent experience

§ Highschool Diploma or GED

§ Maintain a valid driver's license

§ Able to arrive on time and ready to work

§ Be able to lift 50 lbs

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
