Hi. We’re TEK Construction. We specialize in ICF systems.

Before we tell you about the position, let us tell you about us. TEK Construction is a specialty builder in the Intermountain area. TEK is a fairly new company, but solid and growing. Our roots go back many years, with leaders that have used this customer and outcome-focused approach in multiple industries.

Most of our focus is on designing and installing ICF (insulated concrete form)-based foundation systems. ICF is a relatively new technology that creates foundations that are more resilient, energy efficient and quiet. Depending on the needs of our customers, we provide whatever support they need: ICF materials, ICF installation, concrete pouring and finishing, and other as-needed work including general construction.

We deliver predictable, high-quality outcomes on our customers’ most challenging and complex foundation and construction projects. At TEK Construction we define what success looks like and then work backwards to plan, develop and deliver projects that enable these outcomes in a predictable way. And our goal is to have fun doing it!

This is where you come in:

We are seeking ICF installers, and will consider those with previous framing and concrete construction experience, as well as those that are new to the construction trades. Our most successful candidates will have a strong background in construction and a proven track record in concrete formwork, framing or other relevant skills. But if your experience is limited, but you are motivated and a quick learner, we'd still like to talk with you.

But we also focus on whether you fit with TEK. Our people are customer-focused innovators, and doers. We look for people that are good communicators and that work well as part of a team and who can work in a self-directed way. This position offers some remote work but also requires traveling within the state to be on site as needed.

Full time, Mon-Fri. We will generally work four 10-hour shifts within a week, but this can extend from Monday-Friday during busy times. Occasionally we require overtime in a crunch. We perform our projects within 90 minutes of the Wasatch Front, with a home location in Northern Davis County; from there we offer ridesharing transportation in our fleet vehicles if preferred.

Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour
