Drayage Company Driver is responsible for the:

• communication of sensitive information that can affect the timely delivery of freight, whether that is as follows but is not limited to be traffic, weather, mechanical issues, appointment time variation, layover, or detention.
• PUNCTUALITY: Anyone in port work knows the appointments are strict. We need someone who can be on time. If there are issues- please communicate that with us.
• perform FMCSA compliant inspections whether pre-trip and post-trip.
• going in and out of the port to assist with drayage and storage needs

Must have

• 6 months CDL Experience Regional/OTR
• TWIC CARD
• CLEAN MVR ( PERSONAL AND COMMERICAL)
• Be able to pass a hair follicle drug screen
• Must be able to drive a manual

This position is based out of the Savannah port. We are able to allow the driver to go home nightly if you are within 30 miles of the port. If you are not, but we have an appointment scheduled close to home you are able to be home that night.
