BOOKKEEPER RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all information
  • Process and maintain all accounting records for multiple communities pertaining to residents, employees, and vendors
  • Maintain an excellent working relationship with Community Administrative Assistant
  • Prepare reports needed by community management and Olympia office staff
  • Process resident billing through QuickBooks Pro
  • Accounts payable
  • Perform data entry for payroll-related functions in QuickBooks Pro
  • Various duties as assigned
BOOKKEEPER QUALIFICATIONS

  • Advanced level proficiency in Microsoft Office programs - Word, Excel, Outlook, and QuickBooks Pro
  • Typing at 40 words per minute
  • Previous bookkeeping and customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Deadline proficient and detail orientated with a high level of organizational skill
  • Self-motivated with the ability to time manage tasks, work with little supervision
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check, pass a drug screening, and abide by our Drug-Free Workplace policy
  • Experience in senior housing industry preferred
COVID-19 RESPONSE: CONTROL AND PREVENTION

  • Our Staff and resident vaccinations exceed CDC study percentages.
  • Completed over 100 vaccine clinics to date, giving nearly 5,000 COVID-19 vaccines.
  • Screening of EVERY person who enters a community for temperature, symptoms, travel history, and known exposure.
  • Frequent and routine aerosol misting of viral disinfectant in the community.
  • Installation of air purifiers throughout the community.
  • Installation of ultraviolet sanitation stations at the entrance of many communities.
  • Routine infection control training for staff and essential visitors.
  • An increase in both food and PPE stock.
  • Working with local and state health departments.
  • Continuously evaluating conditions and making improvements to our COVID-19 prevention and response.
