Carolina International Trucks is looking for a Commercial Truck Salesperson to join our team! This position is perfect for someone looking to extend high level of commitment to customer satisfaction and is always keeping up with new products and features coming in order to provide a high level of service to new and existing client base.

Responsibilities

• Sales of new and/or used medium and heavy duty trucks.
• Develops sales plan consistent with sales goals.
• Schedules and completes regular sales calls in territory.
• Prepares a comprehensive Customer Solutions proposals.
• Documents proposal, sales calls, follow ups and activities in CRM software.
• Utilizes Navistar’s internal system to apply for and Special Price Allowances (SPA’s)
• Work closely with Service Department to assure vehicles are ready and appropriate paperwork is completed for delivery.
• Performs a thorough delivery presentation including vehicle operation, warranties, extended coverage options and parts and service contracts at the dealership.

What we are looking for

• Self-starter with the drive to succeed.
• At least 3 years of proven sales experience in the heavy equipment industry with strong consultative sales skills.
• Strong computer skills.
• Class B CDL license preferred or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Attention to detail with excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Employee is required to reside in the position market area.

This position is a commission driven pay structure in addition to an annual base salary.
