Innovex is a leading provider of critical well centric products and technologies for the oil and gas industry including a broad array of industry leading engineered products. We design, manufacture, and install well construction, completion and artificial lift products for onshore and offshore operators worldwide.

We are hiring a Collections Specialist with a CAN-DO attitude for our Headquarters location, 4310 North Sam Houston Parkway E, Houston, Texas 77032!

  • Review accounts while working with clients to resolve inconsistencies.
  • Interact with all levels of employees as well as customers on a regular basis.
  • Contact customers to obtain or communicate account information for collections.
  • Review data and other information relevant to billings and collections for purposes of collecting on outstanding invoices.
  • Manage and coordinate outgoing mailings to customers including statements and invoices.
  • Maintain electronic collection notes for each customer account.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies with cash applications.
  • Work with team members at facilities to resolve billing issues with customers.
  • Process credit memos for any adjustment such as price discrepancy, discount, freight waiver, uncollectible write-off, return transactions, duplicate invoices, etc.
  • Maintain customer account master information.
  • Request tax exempt certificates forms as needed.
  • Provide team support on escalated accounts with the identification, planning and calling of clients.
  • Review collections activities for opportunities to improve team performance.
  • Monitor collections activities and account balances and provide strategies to reduce / prevent past due balances.
  • Requires initiative based on familiarity with the organization’s practices and procedures.
  • Identify problem accounts and work with collections team to resolve issues.
  • Provide timely follow-up on customer inquiries and payment arrangements.
  • Complete random account reviews to ensure accounts are being managed thoroughly.
  • Communicate and follow up effectively on customer accounts in a timely basis.
  • Ensure all collections procedures are followed.
  • Provide collection reports and metrics to management as requested.
  • Lead and initiate team training.
  • Demonstrate effective leadership skills and encourage team concepts.
  • Assist in escalation issues.
  • Provide assistance to management upon request and as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Requirements: 3+ years’ experience in a collection role.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to accurately work under pressure, set priorities, multitask, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills within all levels of the company.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to adjust and interact with all levels of personnel.
  • Microsoft office knowledge.
  • Intermediate Excel knowledge.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
