ColdFusion Developer - eCommerce and Web Applications

LightingNewYork.com is one of the fastest growing online lighting and home goods retailers in the US and we're looking to expand our team. As we grow, we continue to look for innovative ways to use technology and we have a current need for someone to help us continue to evolve our Order Management and ERP system(s). If the idea of working with a small team and creating great solutions for customers sounds like fun to you, then we want to talk!

We're looking for candidates that have experience using Coldfusion and are proficient with HTML, CSS, Javascript, and API integrations - bonus points if you have experience using these tools in an eCommerce or an order management environment! We are growing at a rapid pace and have some significant projects on the horizon, so we want somebody that enjoys collaboration, collective teaching, and the pursuit of life-long learning – but more than that, we're looking for people who are adventurous, self starters and like to have fun while also tackling difficult and unique projects.

Lighting New York is headquartered in Selinsgrove, PA (about 45 minutes north of Harrisburg) but the majority of our staff works remotely throughout the US.

Skills we're looking for:

• Extensive experience with ColdFusion, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience querying SQL databases.
• Solid understanding of API's (HTTP, REST, Web Hooks, SOAP, GraphQL, etc.).
• Your written and verbal communications skills are often recognized as top notch amongst your peers.
• You play well with others. No exceptions here: this is a fairly small team, and we genuinely like each other.
• You're able, and excited, to see a project through from ideation to final execution while incorporating feedback creatively.
• You have strong project management, multi tasking, and prioritization skills.
• You're experienced with setting and maintaining goals and targets for your various projects and measuring the success.
