Job Summary:

The Early Learning Mental Health and Wellness Coach is responsible for providing direct, individualized program-level coaching to Indiana early education and care programs who are seeking to increase their mental health and

wellness support for programs, families and children and will benefit from one-on-one and/or group coaching. The Coach is deployed to support early learning programs using a set of universal resources including but not
limited to mental health and wellness evidence-based tools, job-aids, templates, classroom observations, facilitated conversations, and instructor-led training. Coaching occurs both in-person and virtually for individuals and groups of early childhood program leaders and staff.

These positions will service various regions of IN - Indiana Northern Region, Central Region and Southern Region with up to 80% travel within a region.

Essential Duties and ; Responsibilities:
  • Utilizes data to determine and maintain a caseload of early childhood programs.
  • Manages time effectively to optimize coaching hours.
  • Adheres to SPARK Learning Lab's approved coaching philosophy and cycle.
  • Works with program leadership to determine a goal for coaching, creates a plan for achieving that goal, and provides the necessary resources to support the program's development.
  • Provides individual, in-person coaching that is supported by virtual sessions as needed for assigned programs.
  • Collaborates in developing and implementing a cohort learning blueprint for virtual cohorts of program leaders that align with their needs and improvement goals.
  • Facilitates individual and group training opportunities to both assigned programs and the general population.
  • Participates in cross-functional team collaborations in response to specific needs of the project and programs leadership.
  • Liaisons with Content Specialists and other SPARK staff where appropriate.
  • Participates in assigned meetings, events and training as required.

1. Bachelor's in Early Childhood, Social Work, Mental Health or Behavior Health, or a related field. Master's or certification preferred.

2. 5+ years' experience in supporting individuals in mental and behavioral health, experience in Infant/Early Childhood Mental Health is preferred.

3. 2+ years' experience consulting, advising, or coaching.

4. Physical exam and background checks are required for this position.

5. Travel required locally or long-distance up to 80% of the time for work-related meetings, functions, and coaching.

6. Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

This position earns up to 60,000.00 Annually
