Duties Include:
- Performing activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, and dressing of a client
- Meeting mobility needs and ensuring safety
- Providing a safe, comfortable and healing environment for all clients
- Light housekeeping services and meal prepping
- Medication reminders
- Technology integration
- CNA works under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse and other administrators to provide supplementary service in carrying out a care plan.
Skills and qualifications:
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including customer service, patience, empathy and compassion
- Effective communication skills, including active listening, writing, speaking and reading comprehension
- Good collaboration and teamwork skills
- Fast and adaptive problem-solving abilities
- Keen attention to detail
- Familiarity with symptoms and signs of a variety of medical conditions
Specifics for this opportunity:
Location: Washington, D.C.
Days: Tuesday and Thursday are primary days with some additional Monday, Wednesday, Friday times available in the future.
Hours: 20-25 hours/week.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay Rate: $17- $18/hour
CNA/GNA License: Preferred but not required
