Pediatric Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Family owned Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care Center located in Dania Beach. We specialize in providing skilled nursing care for medically fragile children from birth through the age of 21.

We are looking for a Certified Nurse Assistant, who is dependable, organized, devote and passionate about making a difference in these family's lives.

Job Requirements:

• Pediatric Work Experience - Required
• Florida Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) License - Required
• Current CPR (BLS) for the Healthcare Professional - Required
• Experience with Medically Fragile Children - Preferred
• Medical Transport Experience
• Must have strong teamwork skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attentiveness to the needs and safety of children.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

Duties & Responsibilities Include:

• Assist with direct patient care under the direction of the nursing staff.
• Maintain center cleanliness.
• Maintain appropriate infection control techniques.
• Document all care information concisely, accurately and completely, in a timely manner.
• Serve as a medical escort during transportation to and from the PPEC center.
• Perform other position-related duties as assigned.
