NAFI CT is seeking clinical therapists to implement various in-home MST therapy programs across the state including Multisystemic Therapy (MST), Multisystemic Therapy for Problem Sexual Behavior (MST- PSB) and Multisystemic Therapy for Emerging Adults (MST-EA). Our MST programs provide intensive treatment for adolescents, young adults and families between the ages of 9 and 26 years old, depending on MST model. Treatment may include the following: history of criminal behaviors, substance use, problem sexual behaviors and/or mental health conditions. The clinical focus is on safety, prevention of recidivism, family preservation, crisis- management, establishing natural supports and increasing life skills. EOE.
Essential Job Duties:
- Provide trauma informed intensive in-home therapy with a caseload of 4-6 youth/young adults/families to avoid family disruption and/or placement outside of the home.
- Work in an evidence-based clinical model with extensive opportunities for training.
- Utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Contingency Management (CM) to target behaviors like physical aggression, substance use, and running away.
- Work with DCF, Juvenile/Adult Probation, and community providers to ensure continuity of care.
- Conduct diagnostic, safety, and behavioral assessments regularly.
- Adhere to Medicaid documentation standards and requirements.
- Provide on-call support to families on a rotating basis.

Sign-On Incentive: Offered at 6 month anniversary of hire with a $3,000 incentive for new bilingual employees and $1000 for new non-bilingual employees. Eligibility will include new employees who at the 6 month anniversary have successfully completed all model training requirements, have assumed at least 2 clients, and are in good standing. EOE
