Clinical Social Worker

$89,040 - $113,244 annual salary (Licensed)

$82,764 - $105,612 annual salary (Pre-licensed)

*Depending on experience*

Dedicated and compassionate Clinical Social Workers, like you, are key members of our multidisciplinary mental health teams. Within the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation’s adult correctional institutions, you’ll find opportunities to use your clinical knowledge and expertise to make a meaningful and lasting difference, including:

• Conducting assessments and summarize case information for use in diagnosis, treatment, and release
• Developing, monitoring, and modifying treatment plans as necessary
• Documenting and evaluating treatment progress
• Coordinating patient placement with community services

To qualify for this role you must have a Master’s degree from an accredited school of social work, approved by the Council on Social Work Education.

An active and valid registration as an ACSW/ASW with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences is highly preferred.

We currently have opportunities at Ironwood State Prison (ISP), located in Blythe. This friendly desert community is an outdoor recreational wonderland, with access to almost 95 miles of navigable water for boating, fishing, and water skiing and 350 days of sunshine to enjoy golfing, tennis, and hiking. The upscale enclaves of La Quinta, Palm Desert, and Palm Springs make an attractive home base for many of ISP’s physicians and their families.
