Our Client is looking to hire Nursing Faculty to help provide a student-centered environment consistent with its core values preparing graduates to apply their knowledge, and abilities to succeed in a work environment in their field of study.
At our client, students receive education and certification for:
- Emergency Medical Services
- Emergency Medical Technician
- Medical Assisting
- Nursing
- Paramedic
- Substance Abuse Counseling
- Veterinary Assisting
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare course plans and materials
- Delivering course lectures
- Clinical rotations
- Facilitating student engagement
- Working one-on-one with students
- Assessing students and providing developmental feedback
- Deliver courses
- Deliver lectures/facilitate labs
- Grade projects and exams
- Provide progress reports/mid-term feedback
- Maintain grade book
- Assist in preparation of accreditation materials for school.
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES/QUALIFICATIONS:
- A minimum of an earned Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) with a major in nursing (BSN or equivalent) from an accredited nursing program. The Nurse Administrator should remember that, according to the FBON, 50% or more of the faculty must have a master’s or doctoral degree in Nursing or a Bachelor’s degree in nursing with a master’s or doctoral degree in a related field.
- Faculty must have a minimum of three (3) years of related practical work experience in the subject area(s) taught (per ACCSC).
- Currently licensed to practice professional nursing in Florida
- HCI College requires faculty to have an unencumbered registered nurse license or advance registered nurse practitioner license issued by the Florida Department of Health.
- Clinical expertise and competence in the area in which they are serving as a clinical instructor.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $87,000.00 per year
