Do you have experience working with the STS registry for Data Abstraction? We are looking for a Clinical Data Abstractor who has worked with Open Heart abstractions with the STS-ACS registries

Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm EST with flexibility.

This is a part time (32 hours), dayshift abstraction position. Associate will be required to have a regular set schedule, but beginning and end time are flexible.

Utilize specialty databases to abstract patient data from electronic medical records for the application of medical registries.

• Performs clinical data abstraction and utilizes specialty databases
• Review medical records to perform data abstraction for clinical registries based on defined guidelines as provided by the National/State and local registries.
• Must have open heart abstraction experience with the STS-ACS dataset

• Perform primary data abstraction duties for clinical measures and registries while ensuring high levels of abstraction accuracy and ensure alignment with organizational quality standards.
• Compile data into reports for analysis by various departments and committees and act as liaison between clinical improvement teams to interpret standards and specifications.
• Maintain various quality databases including loading import files, generating and working data status reports in compliance with regulatory requirements and timeframes.
• Identify and communicate trends in clinical data to leadership.
