TITLE: Clinic Director/Medical Practice Manager
HOURS: Full time, some evenings required
PROGRAM: Brockton Sexual & Reproductive Health Services
SALARY: $70,000 - $75,000
BENEFITS: Medical, dental, holiday, paid earned leave, retirement, etc.
DUTIES: Under the supervision of the Director of Medical Services, the Clinic Director is accountable for the day-to-day management of the site including:
- Creating a high-functioning team positioned to handle the daily customer service and operational needs
- Managing the clinic’s business and administrative functions
- Identifying and seek opportunities to grow the program
- Ensuring services are culturally and linguistically competent
- Facilitating processes to create effective systems
- Supervising site staff including hiring, training, observation and evaluations
- Meeting operational financial requirements including site specific encounter control completion, timely deposits, batch and daily session reports, and resubmit claims as needed
- Ensuring customer service/focus and increased client access
- Overseeing site continuous quality improvement activities
- Manage clinic inventory controls
- Conduct outreach and participate in local provider meetings and ensuring a visible presence in the community
- Developing and facilitating effective communication with staff including holding regular staff meetings
- Attending Management meetings
- Providing direct care as appropriate
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors’ Degree; 5+ years management experience including at least one year medical practice management; passion for Health Imperatives’ mission including trauma-informed, client-centered sexual and reproductive health care; demonstrated leadership skills; excellent written, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills; awareness of and sensitivity to diverse cultures. Must be dependable and have a valid driver’s license registration and safe driving record.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bilingual and/or bicultural a plus; multiple years in medical practice management and knowledge of medical operations;experience in public health setting.
