Veterinary Specialty Hospital (VSH) is looking for a full-time Emergency Room Liaison to join our team! This is a newer position created to assist the workflow between the ER team and clients bringing in their furry best friends. We are looking for an energetic “people person” needed for large specialty veterinary hospital to communicate financial updates to clients. Primary duties will include:

• Entering all services into the hospital information system
• Preparing updated treatment plans
• Reviewing treatment plans with clients
• Collaborating with Doctors and clinical team to facilitate approved treatment and diagnostics
• Managing multiple software systems for incoming ER patients (Ezyvet, Clockwise, Smartflow)
• Collecting deposits as necessary
• Assist Client Care Specialists with processing payment balances due on check out

Ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and ability to discuss financial obligations with clients. Will act as a client-pet advocate and update various doctors and technicians regarding client’s financial situation and the client’s goals for the pet’s treatment. Ease with computer systems and knowledge of Excel necessary.

In addition to primary duties, the Emergency Concierge will work to develop a reference for charge capture for use as a training tool and assist hospital supervisors in implementing systems to increase client awareness of value and reduce unpaid invoices.

Knowledge of medical terminology and basic procedures. Will participate in the holiday schedule.

Shift Info: Thursday - Saturday, 12-hour shifts $19.50 - 22 hourly
