Paraeducator Job Description*
Paraeducators assist the teacher in supervising students, in helping plan and implement a curriculum, and in creating an environment which responds to the needs of the students in the classroom. When applicable, they also assist Individualized Education Program (IEP) teams in implementing IEP goals and objectives.

Personal Care Assistant (PCA) Job Description*
A Personal Care Assistant is a one-on-one service with a student. PCA’s may provide services to more than one student in a day (but only one student at a time).

Education:_ A Bachelors degree in a related field (Spec. Ed, Education, or Psychology) is preferred

Qualifications:_ Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) experience highly preferred. Must be flexible, motivated to learn and able to work well with others, have a valid driver's license and access to a car.

Hours:_ Full-time, Monday through Friday, during the educational hours of 8 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. No nights or weekends

Location: _throughout Bucks County

CREDENTIALING REQUIREMENTS_: All Documents are required before starting. Clearances, CPR/First Aid, and Liability and TB must be current within 12 months.

• PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance
• PA Sate Criminal (Act 34) Clearance
• PA Department of Education FBI Fingerprints – Use code 1KG6XN
• CPR/First Aid
• TB Screening
• Education Documentation - Diploma OR Official Transcripts.
