Job Title: Claims Analyst

Pay Rate: $16/hour on w2

Work Type: Remote (for Onsite Training in Phoenix, AZ 85001 on Day 1)

Work Schedule: 6:00 AM-2:30 PM PST

Duration: 6 - month contract (with possible extension)

Job Overview:

• The Claims Analyst III (CAIII) works on the full range of claims, correspondence, quality assurance, and escalations to ensure the satisfaction of the goals and priorities of the team.
• The CA III also does its part to meet the expectations of internal and external clients with respect to claim handling and Service Level Agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follows written procedures and scripts.
• Consults with team leadership and peers on casework.
• Uses proprietary software tools to access and review claim documents, enter claim decisions, and create escalations when needed.
• Communicates immediately to leadership all obstacles to completing work.
• Meets and exceeds departmental expectations for accuracy and productivity.
• Contributes subject area expertise to determine processing guidelines and assess if standards have been met.
• Utilizes documented team processes to ensure compliance with departmental standards.
• Data entry and verification.
• Draft claimant-facing communications based on guidance provided.
• Communicates directly with claimants by phone or email.
• Verifies data and processing requirements and makes corrections as necessary.
• Other projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Professional degree or equivalent experience.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Sharp critical thinking skills with sound judgment.
• Ability to sit at a computer workstation for long periods of time.
• Database experience/knowledge (3 years or more a plus).
• Understanding data structure.
• Analytic skills – identify problems and potential solutions.
• Attention to detail and ability to exceed quality standards.
• Flexibility and Adaptability – can shift projects and priorities as dictated by management.
• Experience meeting goals and production metrics.
• Previous WFH/Remote work experience.

Requirement:

• MUST HAVE HIGH-SPEED INTERNET ALREADY SET UP
• Must pass Wells Fargo Background Check prior to start
• 3+ years of previous claims processing experience.
• We’re looking for experience in Insurance or mortgage claims (claims, processing, doc review, or auditing)
