We are looking for a Civil Construction Foreman for project’s located in the Bay Area.
Classification (Exempt/Non-Exempt): Non-Exempt
General Summary of Position: Completes construction projects by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors, field staff, and sub-contractors. Position may oversee one or more jobs/areas at a time.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- Supervise a crew to conduct construction activities in an efficient and coordinated manner.
- Communicate to project managers/supervisors.
- Ability to read plans and specs.
- Ensuring quality work and correct practices.
- Complete Daily Field Production Reports on a daily basis.
- Ensure company employees and subcontractors are adhering to the company safety policy.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years construction experience working in the capacity of on-site working foreman.
- Proven experience as a heavy civil construction site leader getting jobs done on time, within budget and with high quality work
- Knowledgeable in Heavy Civil construction
- In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment and OSHA guidelines
- Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to communicate and report effectively
- Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; gathers and analyzes information skillfully; develops alternative solutions; works well in group problem solving situations; uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics.
- Manages difficult customer situations; responds promptly to customer needs; solicits customer feedback to improve service; responds to requests for service and assistance; meets commitments.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and other basic computer skills.
- Must be able to travel to various jobsites
- Required to have a valid Driver’s License
- Must pass pre-employment drug test/physical/background check.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
