iDesign Engineering Inc. is a full-service civil engineering consulting firm with two offices in Maryland. We focus on delivering the highest quality engineering designs to public sector clients in the Maryland and Capital region. iDesign is seeking a civil engineer at our headquarter office along I-95 in Calverton, MD, less than ten miles north of Washington, DC. The qualified candidate will assist team members in the design of public sector projects including highways, transit facilities, streetscape renewal, drainage and stormwater management, and traffic engineering. Duties will occasionally involve on-site assessments and inspections. This position is for early-career to mid-level engineers. H-1B/potential green card sponsorship will be available if needed. Qualifications and Skills

Minimum position requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering
• EIT registration
• CAD proficiency (Microstation / AutoCAD)
• Reliable transportation to project sites
• Excellent communication and report writing skills
• Full vaccination for COVID-19

The preferred candidate will possess:

• Experience with 3D site modeling (Geopak, Inroads/Openroads, Civil3D)
• ArcGIS experience, including editing, querying and presenting data
• Experience performing field investigations or inspections

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $78,000.00 - $98,000.00 per year
