JOBPreschool Staff Opportunities at Cedar Hills Recreation Center!The Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District is looking for team members that love working with preschool age kids for childcare and our indoor Playpark and to provide childcare. Playpark gives families with children 2-6 years of age a place to gather to interact and develop motor and social skills during indoor play. These positions provide a fun atmosphere, where staff can put their skills to work for the community. Bilingual employees who utilize their language skills in the workplace can earn an additional 3% pay incentive! The Childcare and Playpark Provider performs setup/ take down of kids play toys for ages 2-6 and supervises the area for children and parents. Playpark typically runs on Tues/Thurs from 9:30-11:30am. The Childcare provider performs childcare during the hours of 9am-12pm and/or 5pm-8pm. Part-time employees are scheduled variable hours and may work less than 1,560 hours per year. Licenses, Certificates, and other Requirements• Current First Aid and Infant/Child CPR Certification, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.• Must be 16 years of age or older.** Employees receive free drop-in access to all THPRD recreation facilities for their household.
