We are looking for a passionate individual to join our Growing Patch family. We are currently seeking a Lead teacher for our Toddler classroom (20 months-33 months) and a Preschool Assistant. This position is in Dewitt.

Our teachers are dedicated to the care and development of each child at the Growing Patch, and we are currently in search of an equally passionate, hardworking and enthusiastic teacher to join our team.

A little about us, the Growing Patch opened in February 2020 right before the pandemic shut everything down. We have another location in Westphalia. The Growing Patch is a small center licensed for 41 children (4 infants, 4 young toddlers, 8 older toddlers, and 24 preschoolers.) Here we treat everyone like family. Our teacher's wellbeing is very important to us, so we have implemented policies to ensure teachers do not get burnt out. We try to work around everyone's schedules such as college courses, secondary jobs, appointments, vacations etc.

***Requirements: ***
-Must be 18 years +

- Able to pass a criminal background check

- Experience in childcare/child development

-Reliable

-Conduct interviews, center tours

- Able to lift 40 pounds

- Ability to work 35-40 hours

Responsibilities include:
-Implements weekly lesson plans and sets up activities.
-Ensure the safety of all children in our program
-Closely follow licensing regulations related to childcare
-Daily cleaning and other tasks

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
