Job Summary
As the Chief of Staff, Marketing, you will be a key strategic leader at O Positiv. This individual will partner with the CMO to set the company's growth goals and the strategic roadmap to achieve those goals. This role will evaluate high-value opportunities and lead priority initiatives across multiple functions.
We're looking for a sharp, analytical and conceptual thinker with a strong ownership mindset. He/she/they will have the ability to multitask, manage multiple stakeholders, and deliver on several projects in a fast-paced, start-up environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for women's wellness and e-commerce.
The Chief of Staff, Marketing, reports to the Chief Marketing Officer, and will work cross-functionally with senior employees to implement critical projects and workflows that advance O Positiv's mission and goals.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Act as thought partner to the CMO, to set strategic growth initiatives, track progress, and provide data-driven recommendations for marketing teams
- Identify and evaluate high-value partnerships, tools, and talent
- Leverage value-add customer insights into greater customer value
- Develop and sustain efficient and robust cross-functional processes
- Establish growth pathways and foster rewarding culture for O Positiv's marketing teams
- Improve current processes and coordinate organizational procedures for optimized efficiency and productivity within marketing teams
Qualifications and Skills
Experience:
- 4+ years in a business or executive management role. Consulting experience with a focus on marketing is a plus.
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Strong quantitative analytical skills and conceptual problem solving skills
- Proven experience in managing processes and cross-functional projects
- Exceptional organizational skills; ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks seamlessly
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Interpersonal:
- Exceptional leadership & communication skills in verbal and written forms
- Skilled in managing stakeholders, including board and executive team
- Strong executive presence and proven cross-functional collaboration
- Success and comfort operating in an unstructured environment and leading through ambiguity
- Team-player, hard-working, organized, and goal-oriented
- Forward thinking and able to anticipate business needs
Additional Preferred Experience and Skills:
- Startup and/or e-commerce experience is a plus
- Passion for women's wellness, e-commerce, and/or digital marketing is a plus
Hours and Compensation
- Job Type: Full-time
- Pay based on prior experience
- This is a full time role: this position will be in-person 4 days a week, Monday-Thursday, with Fridays being remote
- Our office is based in Santa Monica, California
