Overview

The Hanline Group manufactures, distributes, and facilitates supply chain solutions in the food and logistics space For over 30 years, The Hanline Group is privately held, and has leveraged its resources to become one of the largest produce distributors in the Eastern United States.

The CFO will work alongside leadership to make financial decisions affecting all businesses within The Hanline Group (listed below).

Businesses Under the RS Hanline Umbrella:

· RS Hanline & Co., Inc. (Shelby, OH and Cedar Rapids, IA) – For over 30 years, a trusted fresh produce supplier to the food service, retail, food manufacturing, and wholesale food distribution sectors

· Hanline Frozen Foods (Romulus, MI) – Processes Instant Quick Freeze fruits and vegetables

· Entourage Trucking (Shelby, OH and Cedar Rapids, IA) – An asset-based trucking firm with over 25 trucks

· Entourage Freight Solutions (Columbus, OH) – A third party logistics firm

· Hanline Fresh (Columbus, OH) – A produce brokerage firm

Responsibilities:

· Execute the financial strategy while overseeing the accounting department

· Work with Senior Leadership top monitor performance of the various entities and make recommendations

· Work with Senior Leadership to coordinate planning and establish priorities for the planning process

· Direct the preparation of all financial statements, shareholder reports, tax returns, and governmental agency reports

· Effectively communicate with Owner, Board of Advisor Members, and Banks

· Analyze operations to identify areas of improvement

· Manage internal controls and accounting procedures

· Ensure full transparency over the financial performance of the company

· Effectively and clearly communicate potential risks in a timely manner

· Propose action plans to ensure that annual financial objectives are attained

· Coordinate the annual audit with outside accounting firm

· Oversee the 401k Plan and related audit and DOL filings

Requirements:

· Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

· At least five years’ experience with a Big 4 Accounting Firm

· Minimum of 10 years in a Senior financial managerial position

Preferred:

· Professional accounting designation (CMA, CPA)

· Master’s Degree
