Job Title: Chemist
Pay: $26.67/hour
Duration: Contract to hire - minimum 6-month contract
Schedule:
Training Period: Mon - Fri, 8am-5pm, 40 hrs/week (for 1-2 months during training)
Regular Schedule: Mon - Fri, 2pm-10pm, 40 hrs/week
Location: ONSITE - Chicago, IL (South Side)
Responsibilities:
- Testing in-process, flush, incoming raw material samples and finished products.
- Fulfilling non-hazardous sample requests and maintaining sample area
- Preparing standards and reagents
- General lab cleaning
- Inputting truck, tote and drum results into SAP
- Disposing of lab retains into waste tote
- Stocking lab inventor
- Copy and file incoming raw material paperwork into binders
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in science-related field or equivalent experience
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
