Job Description:
The Charge Edit Analyst is responsible for the daily review, correction, and approval of charges in pended or assigned error reports. The Charge Edit Analyst assures accuracy of charge input into the system by daily analysis of various assigned charge processes and reports charge processing/posting problems immediately to Revenue Integrity management for resolution.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
Minimum Required: High school graduate or equivalent. Successful completion of the following courses, per departmental protocol, within one year of hire: Current Procedural Terminology (CPT), healthcare common procedure coding system (HCPCS), current international classification of disease (ICD) and medical terminology.

EXPERIENCE
Minimum Required: Three years' experience in a medical business office, health care setting or comparable experience required.
