Pottstown School District is looking for a Certified School Nurse. The school nurse supports student success by providing health care through assessment, intervention, and follow-up for all children within the school setting. The school nurse may also assist in mental, emotional, and social health needs of students and help to support their achievement in the learning process.
Active PA School Nurse Certification required
Acts 34, 114, and 151 clearances, TB test, Physical are all required prior to beginning employment
Certified School Nurses have the potential for growth by becoming part of our teacher's contract. This salary would be comensurate with the teacher's contract. As part of the teacher's contract, the successful candidate is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and prescription benefits as well as tuition reimbursement through the Master's degree.
