Villas of Guerin Woods is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to provide rehabilitation services in one or more of our service locations in Georgetown, IN!
The Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant assists the occupational therapy programs and provides occupational therapy treatments to patients to facilitate increased independence and functioning, under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
Shift Available
- PRN
Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to residents in accordance with established standards of practice, Company procedures, Therapy Department procedures and productivity standards under the direction of the Occupational Therapist.
- Conduct screening of residents at regular intervals to determine need for intervention/treatment as allowed by state practice act, company policy, and under the direction and supervision of the Occupational Therapist.
- Assist the Occupational Therapist with the development of treatment plans as directed.
Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current licensure as Occupational Therapy Assistant in practicing state(s)
- Assume responsibility for ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain current licensure and certification.
