SpiriTrust Lutheran is hiring a Full Time Day Certified Nursing Assistant
*Up to a $4,000 sign on bonus available*
Education/Training: Certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) in medical assistant training and certification in PA OR Documentation of the completion of 40 hours of training as a personal care aide. High school diploma or GED. Required to obtain and maintain CPR and basic first aid certification.
Skill(s): Effective interpersonal and communication skills; minimal computer skills; valid driver’s license and dependable means of transportation.
Experience: One year’s experience working with a frail or elderly population
General Responsibilities:
- Participates in the care of clients in accordance with the established plan of care.
- Travels to and from the client location in various weather conditions.
- Provides light housekeeping essential to maintaining a healthy living environment for the client.
- Provides companionship activities.
- Provides care related to clients hygiene.
