CNA, LPN, or RN Opportunity!

Unique opportunity available for caregivers who are certified or licensed in CNA, LPN, or a RN to provide private care to a local business owner at his home and at the office in Fargo, ND.

As the Caregiver/Personal Assistant you will provide one-on-one assistance with all daily living care which may include personal grooming, dressing, transfers, catheter cares, medication administration, feeding, helping with errands, cooking, light housekeeping, and transporting to work and other locations. He will also need support with work tasks such as typing, assisting with Excel and Word documents, attending work meetings, making phone calls, and other tasks not mentioned as assigned. Each day will be different based on the client schedule and activities.

The client does require 24-hour care. Must be available for a variety of days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.

Primary Duties

• Maintain confidentiality regarding patient information.
• Providing caregiver duties as well as nursing.
• Provide health care services in patients residences.
• Transport and accompany patient to work, appointments, and other activities.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, etc.
• Perform errands such as grocery shopping, also meal preparation and cooking.
• Travel as needed.
• Help with patients’ children and their activities.
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements/Qualifications

• License or certification as a CNA, LPN or RN
• Must have valid driver’s license and proof of insurability
• Background check is required
• Must be able to work with children and animals
• Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Functional competency with Microsoft office
