What will I do in this role with Judson?

As a Certified Nurse Aide (C.N.A.), supporting our mission will include the following responsibilities:

• Provide care according to the individual resident/community client care plan, make observations regarding the individual's condition and reports/documents the duties performed and the observations made during all shifts of duty
• Assist residents/community clients with mobility including walking, transferring, and turning/positioning using proper body mechanics
• Assist residents/community clients with prescribed exercises, which the residents/community clients and the STNA/HHA have been taught and supervised by appropriate personnel
• Assist residents/community clients with toileting needs, including assistance with bedpan, bedside commode, toilet use and care of incontinency
• Document care provided in the "Home Health Assistant Daily Report" and maintains appropriate records/reports, as required in the Home Health Assistant Report Book
• Report any changes in residents'/community clients' condition to RN Case Manager including all incidents/accidents which occur in Judson per the emergency procedures (i.e., using the pull cord, etc) and also notifies the RN Community Care Manager
• Report all emergencies called into "911" while on duty providing service to non-DNR clients in the community per emergency procedures and notifies the JHC RN Community Care Manager

What do I need for this role with Judson?

• HS Graduate/GED
• Certified Nurse Aide (CNA)
• Valid drivers' license and insurance or state identification card
• A CPR/BLS certification or willing to obtain within 30 days of hire
