A growing Delaware County Allergy and Asthma Practice is seeking a qualified medical assistant (MA) for a full-time position.

Responsibilities include:

· Perform office procedures, including skin testing administration of subcutaneous/intramuscular injections

· Room patients (Obtain vital signs, Review medications, medical history and drug allergies)

· Assist physicians with office procedures such as food or drug challenges

· Assist physicians with patient education and communication

· Answer and route phone calls

· Familiarity with electronic medical systems

· Medical Assistant Certification

COVID-19 considerations:
All patients and staff are required to wear a mask. Modifications have been made to office protocols to minimize the number of patients in the waiting room at a time. Pre-screening questions for COVID-19 are asked of all patients before examinations.

Experience:

• Medical Assistant: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• BLS Certification (Preferred)
• CMA (Required)
