Job Description - Medical Assistant

Rate of Pay $18.00-20.00 hourly

FULL TIME - Monday-Friday (8:30-5:00)

*Cardiovascular Wellness Company is searching for a Medical Assistant with leadership, problem solving skills and great interpersonal skills. Below are listed some of the skills necessary for our best candidates:

• *intake of patient information
• electronic input of insurance
• obtain baseline vital signs
• perform screening test of ankle-brachial index (ABI), ANS and Sudomotor testing
• print and upload test results, scan and submit to physician reviewing test results for summary
• provide physician with test results for patient
• accountability for productivity of the site

Skill set required to perform this job :

• Excellent customer service skills
• Effective organizational and interpersonal skills
• Background working for a doctor's office
• Ability to manage day to day operations
• Effective communication skills
• Record patients information using office EMR system
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Preferred background: Experience as a medical assistant and some managerial experience. We will train on specific ABI/ANS/sudomotor testing protocol

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
