Paragon Foods is the premier distributor of fresh foods to the restaurant and food-service industry in Western Pennsylvania. We operate an 88,000-square-foot distribution facility in Warrendale, PA, located 18 miles north of Pittsburgh. Paragon Foods is looking for both
CDL Class A & Class B Produce Delivery Drivers to deliver top quality produce and other food products to restaurants, schools, and other facilities throughout Western Pennsylvania, Northern West Virginia, and Eastern Ohio.
As a
CDL Class A or Class B Produce Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering and unloading products. Maintaining on-time performance, interacting professionally with customers, and following all applicable regulations and safety practices are keys to success in this position.
CDL Produce Delivery Driver Schedule:
- 5 days/week, currently with Sunday and Wednesday as days off
- Start times typically between midnight - 4:00AM
- Shifts vary between 8-12 hours long, depending on route.
CDL Produce Delivery Driver Pay and Benefits:
- Class A CDL - $24.00/hour, overtime-eligible; with incentive, potential to earn up to $25.56 per hour.
- Class B CDL - $21.00/hour, overtime-eligible; with incentive, potential to earn up to $22.56 per hour.
CDL Produce Delivery Driver Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections of vehicles before departing to deliver goods
- Deliver orders to customers on assigned routes
- Unload goods as per client specifications
- Review deliveries with customers to ensure products meet their needs
- Obtain delivery confirmations from each customer
CDL Product Delivery Driver Qualifications and Skills:
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Possess a valid Class A or B and current DOT medical certification
- Six (6) months of professional/ commercial driving experience
- Driving record and background check must meet company standards
- Be able to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 75 pounds frequently
- Pass pre-employment drive test and drug test
