The Lodge at Mammoth Cave (MCNP ONP, LLC) operates a variety of Food Services, Retail, Lodging and Bus Transportation within the beautiful National Park! If you are looking for a unique place to work and have a passion for providing customer service, this is the spot for you this summer!:
We're looking for seasonal Camp Store Cashiers (Now - October) to join our team this year!
$12.00 + Tips!
Must be able to work weekends and holidays
Hours of Operation: :
- - Sunday - Thursday: 8a -5p
- - Friday & Saturday: 8a - 7p
Responsibilities::
- Cashiering; maintain (Point-of-Sales) POS operations including opening and closing procedures
- Efficient and honest handling of all cash and credit cards adhering to Company procedures
- Daily cleaning of restaurant, store rooms, and equipment, kitchen and public areas
- Stock shelves, coolers and maintain beverage/ice cream stations
- Sandwich, pizza and salad preparation
- Actively participate in creating a positive work environment, promoting team work
- Adherence to Duties Checklist and other duties as assigned
Position Requirements:
- Excellent customer service and people skills
- Must be able to work a variety of day, evenings, weekend, holiday shifts
- Be able to work independently with little or no supervision
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills – must be able to read, write and speak English
- Must be able to meet and/or exceed customer expectations
- Majority of shift will be spent on feet in a fast-paced environment, in close proximity to other people and will involve frequent bending, twisting, squatting and lifting up to 25 lbs. frequently and 50 lbs. occasionally
Education and Experience:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience: Six months food and beverage experience preferred
