Faith Farm Ministries was established in 1951 by Rev. Garland Eastham. From its inception, this ministry provided comfort, shelter, food, and spiritual training to homeless and destitute men in Fort Lauderdale. What began as a 3-day program to help men recover from the devastating effects of alcoholism eventually matured into the extensive rehabilitation program it is today, providing lasting victory over addiction to illegal and pharmaceutical drugs and alcohol. The vision has grown to include 3 South Florida campus locations with 425 beds on over 500 acres. More than 600 men and women will enter one of our three Faith Farm Ministries campuses this year. Most have failed previous drug and alcohol treatment programs, are homeless, do not have family support. Others have been recommended to us by the court systems. The program is offered free to all and is supported solely by generous contributions, revenue generated at our Faith Farm thrift stores, salvage operations, and a working farm and cattle ranch.
Faith Farm Ministries seeks experienced Cashier [minimum 2 years] for our Fort Lauderdale Thrift Store. Full time, Flexible Days (M-Sat). Requires retail & customer service experience; must be accurate, self-motivated, organized and enjoy working with others. Integrity and Values to coincide with ministry beliefs. DFWP/M/F/EOE
