Organization Description: The Putnam/Northern Westchester Women’s Resource Center (WRC) is a not for profit agency, that has been serving victims of domestic and sexual violence in Putnam and Northern Westchester NY for the last 42 years.

Position Available: Case Manager: full-time (35 hour week) providing counseling and assistance to victims of domestic violence and their children who are residing in a confidential shelter. Seeking a responsible, compassionate, self motivated individual with the desire to support, guide and provide options to residents of the shelter, independently and as part of a larger shelter team.

Responsibilities: counseling, crisis intervention, hot-line coverage, benefit application assistance, housing assistance, medical and educational needs, residential intakes, database completion, hot line phone coverage, transportation, advocacy, and as part of the team; ensure the health, safety and cleanliness of the shelter premises at all times.

Skills and Requirements:

a high school diploma with experience, a BA/BS with professional experience in a non-profit sector a preferred.

Spanish speaking a plus

Must be able to work some flexible hours/shift coverage if needed.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
