About the Role
This job is CONTINGENT upon contract award, client approval, completion of a favorable background investigation, and the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust / High Risk clearance.
Federal Program / Case Manager - Project Manager
This position serves as the Case Manager – Project Manager (CM/PM) for Medical and Behavioral Health Services program with a federal government client. The CM will provide oversight management in support of the Client’s fixed medical Occupational Health Unit sites.
Requirements:Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate examination appointments and schedule follow-up appointments; maintain and safeguard both hard copy and electronic medical information.
- Track all assigned cases; analyze performance against established metrics; analyze available data using various statistical analytic tools; and measure means, trends, and statistical deviations.
- Counsel patients in person, by telephone, and in writing on matters related to their reevaluation, and ensure that the individual completely understands all phases of the process.
- Identify problems and recommends change to Program Manager on policies and improvements to processes and services provided.
- Provide daily updates and use databases, electronic health records applications, as well as current and commonly utilized office productivity software applications such as word processing, spreadsheet programs, presentations software, and email and scheduling programs.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local policies related to benefits and social programs and procedures sufficient to serve as a technical authority to implement and counsel on the program.
- Ability to communicate effectively, perform advisory services for specific requests, conduct interviews and motivate customers to use benefits and services immediately available.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, federal and civilian medical organizational structure, and practices.
- Knowledge of basic statistical collection and reporting techniques, including measuring means, trends, simple statistical deviations, construction of diagrams, histograms, bar, and pie charts to convey ideas related to processing events.

Qualifications
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a clinical services operations’ manager.
- Must have a minimum bachelor’s degree and a state license and be a graduate of an Accredited Medical Assistant Program
- Must have a Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate.
- Must have Government healthcare environment experience.
- Capacity to be a self-starter and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent client-ready and client facilitation skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Experience of and insight into the Clinical environment to be able to drive major improvement programs.
- Experience with MS Office
- Ability to support all aspects of the project including planning tasks, monitoring progress, and identifying potential issues.
- Experience in an Adult Outpatient, Inpatient, Ambulatory and/or Emergency Department preferred
- Ability to adapt to fast-moving environments and changing requirements.
- Public Trust clearance preferred.
Clearance Requirement: Public Trust / High Risk
As this position is categorized as Public Trust / High Risk position, candidates will be subject to appropriate Background Investigation.
Job Location: Washington D.C.
As this position will be located at a federal government site, candidate must be residing in the greater Washington D.C. Metropolitan area. Remote work for this position is not available.
Travel:
No international travel is required. Limited domestic travel as required (less than 10% travel).
