Arrowood Designs, Inc. is a rapidly growing commercial casework and millwork company, located 45 miles east of Charlotte, NC. We primarily work as a sub contractor for large commercial construction companies in the Mid Atlantic and Southeastern US. We are looking for someone with any combination of Carpenter, Cabinet Making, AutoCAD and/or Drafting skills. This is an ideal position for a Carpenter who likes to work with Computers or Anyone Interested in Detailed Woodworking that you Draw on a Computer. No Experience is Required, We are very willing to Train You!
The primary function of this position, is to draw cabinets, reception desks, nurses stations and the like. Our Industry requires that we read Blue Prints and then take what the Architect has drawn and draw it in our software, Cabinetvision.
We are willing to train someone with a great attitude and a desire to learn. This job requires exceptional communication skills, excellent organizing and planning skills, computer skills and an excellent work ethic. Construction and/or woodworking knowledge would be a big plus, but it is not required.

This position is ideal for someone with computer skills and an interest in construction and/or woodworking that would like to work towards a larger paycheck. In this position, you will learn about commercial construction, architectural millwork, casework and how our products fit into the construction of schools, hospitals, office buildings and government facilities.

Responsibilities(what you will learn):
- Read blue prints
- Cabinetvision Software
- Review project drawings and contracts to verify Scope of Work
- To coordinate drawing deadlines with our production manager to meet or exceed project deadlines.
- How the commercial construction industry works
