The Caregiver's role includes providing hands on care, with physical and emotional support to each resident while maintaining a safe and comfortable home-like setting.

Responsibilities:

• Helping residents maintain independence, promoting dignity and physical safety
• Maintaining cleanliness of residents’ rooms, common areas & work areas
• Participating and assisting residents with activities of daily living (i.e. bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transferring, eating)
• Engaging and participating with residents in group and one-on-one activities

Qualifications:

• High School diploma/GED
• Ability to communicate effectively with Residents, management and co-workers
• Upbeat, cheerful, warm and approachable qualities a must
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Must demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills
• Must be 18 year's of age.
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred.
